Can it rain in the desert?

Deserts can and do receive rainfall and even sometimes snow.

However Deserts are places where they typically get less than 10 inches of rain or precipitation per year.

That includes snow as well along with the rain.

Deserts are usually pretty dry places so don't get much rain or snow so it's hard to get enough water out in the desert but it is possible.

People do live out in the desert but have learned to adapt to the climate and the drought in the desert.
