Is Linux really safer than Windows?

Yes Linux operating system is safer than Windows operating system because it's not as widely used as Windows 10 and those using Linux are usually more tech savvy and can secure the computers operating system better.

Also there's less viruses out there targeting Linux unlike Windows operating system where there are plenty of viruses and even scams due to the widespread use of Windows operating system.

Still I would rather use Windows operating system as it's much easier to use and looks better as well and well worth the cost of paying for the windows operating system license.

I like to play around with Linux on an old laptop but for my main computer use I prefer to use Windows operating system for the ease of use and ease of updating it and installing software.

I've had both and prefer linux actually

I was told it is, but I recently got a malware on it, so it's not completely immune to security risks.

I still prefer windows, it's way better for gaming, and way easier to find for cheaper. You can get a cheap windows key from here, and it's legit and safe.
