Will spraying water on my window air conditioner help it cool better?

It's 110F outside today and my window air conditioner is struggling to keep my house cool. If I put a sprinkler up to my window air conditioner and let it spray the condenser on the back of the window air conditioner will it help my air conditioner cool the air better in the house?

They make misters for air conditioners but they really don't work as it can actually cause your ac to not cool as good.

The condenser outside your air conditioner is meant to be hot. That heat is what is coming out of your house.

The water could also damage your condenser as well causing it to corrode.
