Robbing a bank is a serious thing and you'll be lucky if you get less than 10 years in prison for the bank robbery.

Most people who rob a bank and get caught get at least 15 to 20 years in prison and if you use a gun in the commission of the bank robbery and threaten anyone's life with the gun or anything else during the bank robbery then that can get you 25 years to 30 years and in some places even a life in prison sentence for the bank robbery.

Bank robbers are almost always caught and jailed within the same or next day of the bank robbery so it's very hard to get away with bank robbery today.

Anyone thinking of robbing a bank today or in the future better plan on spending a lot of time in prison behind bars and not get any use of the money they robbed.

Also the most a bank robber even gets when they rob the bank is around $4,000.00 so it's not all that much and the prison time is so not worth it.
