Can federal agents enforce state laws?

FBI agents could enforce state laws but only if something serious was going on or if it was a life and death situation and the FBI needed to intervene to protect the community or someone from danger.

Usually though for less serious things such as speeding, stealing etc then the local police will be enforcing those local laws instead of the FBI.

The FBI usually only gets involved for serious matters or other  investigations that need more investigation than just the local police can do.
