When starting up a blog how long should I wait for the blog to become profitable?

Is it possible to see profit from a blog as soon as a year after launching the blog?

If you're really lucky you could see profit within one year of starting your blog. But it's rare. Expect it to take a few years at least.

You should be prepared to stick with blogging for 5 years before getting a full time income from your blog.
