A managed VPS hosting server is better than unmanaged VPS hosting if you're not sure how to properly work with the server to secure it and make sure everything is working correctly.

If you know how to manage a VPS server and install software, Cpanel and other things the server needs to run properly, then unmanaged is a good way to go as unmanaged VPS is cheaper than managed VPS.
