The high risk countries in the US also known as Level 4 Do Not Travel countries are Afghanistan, Belarus, Burkina Faso, Burma (Myanmar), Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Niger, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Yemen.

These countries are the U.S. Department of State Level 4 Do Not Travel countries that are the highest risk due to extreme, life threatening conditions.

The countries and nations have widespread terrorism, violence or civil unrest.

The United States identifies several countries that are considered high risk countries due to increased immigration scrutiny, which includes the countries of Afghanistan, Burma, Burundi, Chad, Congo, Cuba, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Laos, Libya, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Togo, Turkmenistan, Venezuela, and Yemen.
