USB is unlikely to become obsolete any time soon.
I can see USB being around for 20 years or longer unless something else comes along that is better.
USB is likely here to stay for decades.
USB ports and USB plugs are not likely to become obsolete in the near future.
There may be another design of USB ports but the USB port itself is likely here to stay for decades.
I sure hope that USB does not become obsolete as I would miss them.
Even if the USB port is changed out with something better the USB port is likely to remain on the computers along with other connection points.
It took nearly 2 decades for USB-A to USB C to change and for a USB-Z to come out it will likely be by 2035 which is a decade and then another half decade for it to be adapted by 20 percent of people.
