The disorder that is similar to compulsive shopping is pathological gambling.

Both compulsive shopping disorders and pathological gambling disorders are impulse control disorders in which people experience an intense urge to engage in a behavior even though there will be negative consequences from doing so.

Pathological gambling and compulsive shopping disorders are often done as a way to manage emotions that are difficult to control.

And both can share similar neurological pathways that are related to pleasure and reward.

Other disorders that are similar to compulsive shopping are substance use disorders, obesessive compulsive disorders and binge eating disorders.

Although it's not the exact same, some aspects of obsessive compulsive disorder such as repetitive behaviors and intrusive thoughts can overlap with compulsive shopping disorders such as when the focus is on checking out prices and or needing to buy things in a certain way.

People with compulsive shopping disorders may also use shopping as a way to self medicate that is similar to how someone with substance abuse disorders use alcohol or drugs.

And binge eating disorders are similar in that both involve impulsive behavior to relieve any negative emotions through excessive consumption of food or shopping in the case of compulsive buying.
