A passenger cannot drink in a car in Utah or other states.

It's both illegal to drink or consume alcohol as a passenger or a driver of a vehicle.

And it's also illegal in Utah to drink alcohol while also operating a class 2 electric assisted bicycle.

The law also applies to all vehicles on the roads of Utah and waterways regardless if the vehicle is stopped, moving or parked.

You can drink alcohol in a limo as a passenger in Utah as long as the limousine is authorized to carry open containers.

Passengers that are in a limousine who is authorized to carry open containers can possess and consume alcohol in the limousines.

However owners and operates of chartered buses and chartered limousines cannot allow an intoxicated person to consume alcohol.

Passengers in a public bus or a taxi can possess an open alcoholic beverage but cannot drink it when in the vehicle.

You can drink in an RV in Utah as long as you're not the driver and are in the back area and not in the front seat.
