The amount of data you'll need to download a movie can vary because of the quality of the movie.

A typical 1 hour long movie though is 1 GB in size so you'll need a minimum of 1 GB of data to download the movie but I've had some movies use 2 GB for the higher quality.

Expect though to use up 1 GB of data when you download a movie.

Downloading a movie depends on the quality. A standard definition (SD) movie might use about 1-2 GB, while high definition (HD) can take 3-4 GB, and ultra-high definition (4K) easily exceeds 7-8 GB. It adds up quickly, especially if you're working with limited data plans.

That's why I prefer to watch movies online instead of downloading them. Streaming on 123 movies has been super convenient for me since it lets me enjoy movies for free without using up extra data for downloads. Plus, the variety of content there keeps me entertained without the hassle.
