A strong armed robbery in Florida is a robbery in which a person uses threat of force or actual violence when stealing a persons property.

Strong arm robbery in Florida and most other states differs from armed robbery in that alleged theft was done with violence, threats or force but without the use of a deadly weapon although in some states the use of a deadly weapon defines it as strong arm robbery but it can vary by state in how they define the robbery.

Strong armed robbery is some states is also known as aggravated robbery and in some states can be defined as when the robbery suspect is armed with a deadly weapon but not always.

A blitz robbery is a robbery in which the robber uses immediate violence to gain control during the robbery.
