You can wear a 14K gold necklace in the shower, especially if the 14K necklace is solid gold.

If the 14K gold necklace chain is gold plated and not solid gold then it shouldn't be worn in the shower as it can corrode and change color.

As long as it's solid gold you can wear the solid gold 14k gold necklace safely in the shower without any damage to the necklace occurring.

14k gold is a very durable allow which will not rust or corrode easily, so showering with the 14K gold necklace won't harm the metal itself.

Although just be aware that if you get any soaps or shampoos on the 14K gold necklace it can dull the shine of the gold.

So be sure that you wash all of the soap residue or shampoo residue off the 14K gold necklace if you get some on it.

If your 14K gold necklace has any pearls or gemstones it's best to avoid showering with it as getting them wet can cause water damage and discoloration.

After you shower, it's also a good idea to rinse the 14K gold necklace with some fresh water to remove any soap residue.

Some people prefer to remove the 14K gold necklace before showering to protect it but if you want to shower with the 14K gold necklace you can do so.

Although you should avoid wearing the 14K gold necklace in chlorinated pools or salt water which can degrade the alloys in the 14K gold over time.
