A dogs belly button is located in the middle of the dogs abdomen and just below the dogs rib cage.

You should notice a tiny vertical scar or wrinkle on the skin or you might even see a whorl fur over the area.

Every dog has a belly button.

However, instead of being an innie or outie like a human's navel, theirs is a smooth, flat scar.

If you notice a small or large soft bulging bump in the belly button area, it could be a hernia.
