I currently register my domain for 1 year at a time.

But if I renew it 9 more years making it 10 years domain registration length will my rankings in search engines such as google go up?

To be honest I doubt it makes an ounce of difference.

But I do know that google does give more credit to an older domain. A domain that has been around longer than a year.

But just registering it for multiple years won't get you higher rankings.

If you plan to keep the domain though you have nothing to lose.
