Many people are now looking for work from home and are learning programming languages by themselves or through courses. I have decided to keep up, I want to learn how to write websites and applications too. What is the most popular language, where do I start?

If you want to start something new, of course I would suggest that you start learning the Java programming language. It has many advantages over other languages, although if you want to be an experienced programmer, you won't stop at one language. You just have to start learning it. There's a good introduction to Java here

It all depends on what you want to do. I advise you to start with C ++, it is easy for beginners. I want to warn you that programming is a rather complicated subject.
