The only true legit way I know of and do myself is by blogging. I run a blog and use Adsense ads. You can make more than your disability payments through them.
But it won't be an overnight thing. It took me 3 years before I started getting enough traffic to earn enough to quit my job.
Start a blog about something you're passionate about and keep updating it with good content.
Use twitter to drive traffic to it.
