Dogs can have popcorn as long as the popcorn is plain and not buttered or has any caramel or other toppings on it.

Although popcorn with cheese on it is safe for dogs in moderation but too much of it can be bad for dogs.

Popcorn is a healthy snack for both dogs and humans in moderation.

Dogs love popcorn because it crunches and tastes great.

An occasional kernel from you is fine, but if you use it as a treat or reward it is best to offer it to him plain or seasoned with appropriate dog flavorings.

Too much popcorn given to your dog may cause issues and can also cause gastrointestinal upsets like vomiting, diarrhea, and gas.

The sodium in popcorn can lead to dehydration, salt toxicity, or ion poisoning, all very serious issues for dogs that require immediate veterinary care.

As long as you're feeding the dog other healthy foods and their regular dog food it's okay for dogs to have popcorn and most other treats that humans eat as long as it's given to them in moderation.

Even popcorn can be unhealthy for humans when eaten in excess or with too much salt or butter.

But in moderation it's okay for both dogs and humans to eat popcorn.
