To stop a weeping eye apply some eye drops, use a cool compress over the eye, take some allergy medicine or antihistamines, take some antibiotics and even apply a warm towel or warm washcloth over the eye.

To soothe an irritated eye use some soothing eye drops.

Also apply a cool compress to your irritated or burning eye daily and wash around your eyes and avoid rubbing your eyes as that can make it worse.

Another home remedy for soothing an irritated or burning eye include.

Mix 1 teaspoon of fresh aloe Vera gel into 2 tablespoons of cold water, and then soak cotton rounds in the mixture.

Place the soaked cotton rounds on your closed eyes for 10 minutes.

Do this twice a day.

Things that can cause one eye to water are allergies, pollen, dust, particles, pink eye etc.

And some medical conditions can cause watery eyes, like Bell's palsy, Sjogren's syndrome, chronic sinus infections, thyroid problems, and rheumatoid arthritis.

So can medical treatments like chemotherapy or radiation. If your eyes tear up often and you don't know why, see your doctor

If your left eye has a burning sensation it can be caused by allergies, dust, particles, pollen, irritants etc.

A burning sensation in one eye can be caused by dry eyes, particles in the eye, dust in the eye or other irritants.

Even seasonal allergies such as an allergen to pollen can lead to one eye burning.

I'm actually experiencing seasonal allergies right now myself and my left eye has been burning and sometimes watery for a few days now.

I'm taking allergy medicine and it's feeling better and should go away soon.

Burning eyes is a symptom of allergies such as seasonal allergies.

When you're suffering from seasonal allergies or allergens in the such as from pollen, etc it's normal to have itchy, burning eyes as well as watery eyes.

Seasonal allergies are sometimes called "hay fever" or seasonal allergic rhinitis.

These allergy symptoms happen during certain times of the year, usually when trees, grasses, and weeds release tiny pollen particles into the air to fertilize other plants.

A person may react to one or more pollens, so their pollen allergy season may be from early spring to late fall.

Seasonal allergy is also caused by mold spores, which can be airborne for long periods of time during the spring, summer, and fall.

You may also get a runny nose as well when you have seasonal allergies.

Typical symptoms of seasonal allergies include.

Itchy, watery or red eyes.
Circles under eyes.
Itchy mouth, nose or throat.
Runny or stuffy nose.
Drainage from the nose down the back of the throat (postnasal drip)
Temporary loss of smell.
Headache.
Sneezing.
