After the doctor uses liquid nitrogen to remove the skin tag a blister should form around the surrounding skin within 6 hours which is normal and you might also notice that the blister might turn black or purple in color which is also normal and nothing to be worried about.
Once that happens the skin tag should fall off within 3 days.
An alternative and faster way of removing the skin tag is by having the doctor cut it off.
