Morning sun can make you dark somewhat.

If you stay out in the morning sun and soak up the morning sun your skin may turn a bit darker but the afternoon sun is even better for getting and making your skin dark.

Sunlight is very healthy for us as we get Vitamins from the sun which helps us stay in a better mood, prevents cancer and other health issues and helps keeps us happy.

Melanin protects skin from the sun's ultraviolet rays.

These can burn the skin and reduce its elasticity, leading to premature aging.

People tan because sunlight causes the skin to produce more melanin and darken.

The precursors of Vitamin D that is, molecules that produce the vitamin  present in your skin are activated by the sun; so soaking some morning sun is a good idea, health-wise.

“Weak bones, lack of calcium and various skin and hair issues are triggered by Vitamin D deficiency.

Morning sunshine between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. is ideal.

The hours after 10 a.m. and up until about 4 p.m. are known to have stronger, more direct rays.

Being outdoors unprotected during this period increases your risk for sunburn and skin cancers.

Limit time in the midday sun.

The sun's rays are strongest between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Limit exposure to the sun during these hours, even in winter and especially at higher altitudes.

Do not burn.

Sunburns significantly increase the lifetime risk of developing skin cancer, especially for children.
