All essential oils are actually toxic if consumed or ingested.

Although eucalyptus essential oil is the most toxic especially when ingested as only a teaspoon of less of eucalyptus oil can be fatal.

As long as you only use the essential oils externally and only for use in a diffuser they are generally safe to use.
