Once money is put onto the Walmart Gift Card it must be used to purchase things from Walmart Stores or Walmart online.
You can however sell someone the gift card for cash or sell the gift card for cash or money into your bank account or Paypal account online.

To purchase gas with your gift card simply slide your gift card into the electronic gas pump just as you would with a debit or credit card.
Proceed to fill your gas tank with the appropriate amount of purchased gas as defined by the monetary value of your card.
Use your gift card inside at the cashier as an alternative method of paying for your gas.
Just note the gas pump may charge you more than you intended to pump in gas so the gift card may be declined at the pump.
If so use the gift card inside the store to prepay for your gasoline and then go to proceed to pump the gasoline.
Also watch out for card skimmers on pumps as well as they can get access to your debit card, credit card and gift card depending on which one you use.
If you have a Walmart Gift Card then you can use it at Murphy's gas stations to purchase gas but not at other gas stations.
