Murphy's Gas Stations do take Walmart Gift Cards for purchase of gasoline, diesel or anything else that Murphy's gas stations sells.
Walmart gift cards can be used at Walmart-owned companies such as Walmart Marketplace, Walmart Neighborhood Market, Sam's Club, and selected Murphy USA Fuel Stations.
Walmart Gift Cards can be used at any Walmart Store or Murphy's gas Station location.
However you cannot use Walmart Gift Cards at other stores other than Walmart Stores.
Walmart Gift Cards are only meant to be used at Walmart Stores, Murphy's Gas Stations and online at Walmart.com
As long as your gift card is a gift card such as a Visa Gift Card meant to be used at other stores then you can use your gift card at the pump or in stores to purchase gas with.
To purchase gas with your gift card simply slide your gift card into the electronic gas pump just as you would with a debit or credit card.
Proceed to fill your gas tank with the appropriate amount of purchased gas as defined by the monetary value of your card.
Use your gift card inside at the cashier as an alternative method of paying for your gas.
Just note the gas pump may charge you more than you intended to pump in gas so the gift card may be declined at the pump.
If so use the gift card inside the store to prepay for your gasoline and then go to proceed to pump the gasoline.
Also watch out for card skimmers on pumps as well as they can get access to your debit card, credit card and gift card depending on which one you use.
If you have a Walmart Gift Card then you can use it at Murphy's gas stations to purchase gas but not at other gas stations.
