The Salvation Army is a religion according to their beliefs.

According to the Salvation Army they are a Protestant Christian church and an international charitable organization.

The organization reports a worldwide membership of over 1.7 million, consisting of soldiers, officers and adherents collectively known as Salvationists.

However while they are considered a religion the Salvation Army is a poor religion and poor Christian belief outfit as they are anti gay.

If you're Gay the Salvation Army will not help you and will turn you down and if they were a true Christian place they would not turn anyone down whether you're gay or not.

I stopped donating to them for this reason.

As of now the Salvation army is 157 years old.

The Salvation Army was founded in the year of 1865 so they have been around over 100 years.

The Salvation Army is owned by an organization that is listed as the Salvation Army.

So the Salvation Army is actually not owned by just one person or a company and it's supposed to be a non profit organization but in reality it's not a non profit.

The Salvation Army is part of the religious umbrella that receives faith-based governmental funding.

Given the Salvation Army's mission of serving others through biblical principles grounded in Jesus Christ, lawsuits arise over the funding.

The Salvation Army Family Stores are owned by the nonprofit organization The Salvation Army, but they are not The Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army is not a thrift store but an organization that originated in London in 1865 as a result of Christian evangelist William Booth's Quaker tent meetings.

The Salvation Army is not a charitable, nonprofit Christian organization.

Only about 82 percent of donations actually go toward its charity work, but the rest goes toward whatever the Salvation Army does with it, whether it be paying its employees or funding antigay propaganda.

The Salvation Army is a Protestant Christian church and an international charitable organization.

The organization reports a worldwide membership of over 1.7 million, consisting of soldiers, officers and adherents collectively known as Salvationists.
