9 year old in diapers

I have been looking into doing diaper discipline. I wanted to know if somebody can tell me how to process usually starts. What kind of diapers would I usually start with? I am not getting into cribs or changing tables or anything like that. I would expect them to wear though when they come home from school. On the weekends typically. I do not want to publicly shame them in anyway. It would be something for when they are at home. If we did end up going out they would always wear clothes. If I did have to give them a diaper change it would be in a family restaurant in a very private place. My child is purposely putting his pants on her face when we are out or if we are at home just to get what he wants. His personality has changed from a really good kid to being just a brat. Just because he does not get what he wants. His weight is 45 pounds.

Explain it to him that he is acting like a baby when he's not getting his way. Please be stern with him, cut up his underwear/boxers and explain it to him and tell him for 6 months or a year (preferably a year), he can't use the potty for nothing, his diaper is his potty. Take away things he's use to playing with like LEGO's, action figures, ALL electronics. Start buying him babyish toys. Take him to his doctor BUT explain to him that he is bedwetting, daytime wetting. If you want lie to him. I would call him out of school and set a appointment. Also, I know you don't want to but buy a High Chair.  He can't get out, he can do his homework in it, eat in it.  Just keep it in our mind that how embarrassed u r when he does this crap on you. I was diapered punished from 1st grade - 12th grade

To begin the diaper discipline with your 9 year old boy you should sit down with him and explain to him that since he's acting up then he will wear diapers when at home and when not in school.

Explain to him that you love him and you're doing this for his own good.

If he still does not cooperate then you may need to spank him to get him to comply.

Since he's wetting his pants on purpose then you should tell him that since he can't keep his pants dry he will need to wear diapers.

Lock the bathroom so he cannot go to the toilet.

Since your 9 year old son weighs 45 lbs then he should be able to fit into a Pampers Baby Dry size 6 diaper, Pampers Cruisers size 7 diaper, Luvs size 6 diaper or even a Gentle Steps size 7 diaper.

Putting your son back in diapers will make him eventually behave as long as you keep him in the diapers and let him know that you're in charge which includes changing his diapers.
