How long does it take for antibiotics to clear up an ear infection?
Once you start taking antibiotics for an ear infection how long does it take for the ear infection to go away and clear up?

If you take antibiotics for the ear infection then the ear infection should clear up and go away fully within 72 hours.
If the ear infection lasts longer than 72 hours and you're taking antibiotics then you should go back and see your doctor again.
