The Chilblains of your toes or fingers or skin appear as swollen red or sometimes blue patches of skin.

Because of the swelling the chilblains may look shiny.

Make sure to keep your feet, toes and hands and fingers warm when out in the cold.

You should also apply some Witch Hazel, Calamine Lotion or even some moisturizing lotion to your hands and feet and toes.

In your shoes add some medicated foot powder or even some baby powder.

You can treat Chilblains by soaking the Chilblains in some apple cider vinegar along with some water for 20 to 30 minutes at a time.

Also applying Witch Hazel or calamine lotion to the Chilblains can also help ease and soothe the Chilblain itching.

The Chilblains will eventually go away on their own within 2 to 3 weeks whether you treat them or not.
