What happens if you wear nail polish for too long?

Are there any health effects from leaving nail polish on for too long?

You should not have any health problems by leaving nail polish on too long.

I've left nail polish on my fingernails for 3 months and nothing happened. Wear your nail polish on your finger or toenails for as long as you like.
