Lamisil cream should work to cure and get rid of the toenail fungus but the tablets will certainly work better by inhibiting the growth of the toenail fungus and also by killing the toenail fungus off.
You'll have to see your doctor for a prescription to get the nail fungus tablets though.
I haven't used it myself but I remember reading somewhere online that you can use Vicks VapoRub for treating and getting rid of Toenail and other nail fungus.
