Spiders do poop but not in the same way humans do.

Instead spiders poop and pee at the same time which is a mixture of the pee and poop waste when they do release the waste.

Most spiders are actually pretty harmless to humans and will bite only when they feel a need too.

Most spiders will bite you while some other types of spiders may actually sting you.

Not all spiders have long enough fangs to penetrate the human skin while some do and some spider bites may actually be from other bugs and not spiders.

Most spider bites are usually harmless and many bites attributed to spiders turn out to have been inflicted by other bugs.

Some skin infections also have been mistaken for spider bites.

Only a few types of spiders have fangs long enough to penetrate human skin and venom strong enough to hurt humans.

When you have a pet spider to feed you should feed the pet spider live food.

Some live food you can feed your pet spider and especially tarantula spiders are gut-loaded insects, including crickets, mealworms, king worms, silkworms, dubia roaches, or horn worms.

Tarantula spiders can also eat young vertebrate prey, such as pinky mice, but this source of food can be inherently messier to deal with.

Spiders do make good pets for most people.

A spider requires not that much work to care for and does not require socialization like dogs, cats etc.

Pet spiders can live quite comfortably in a small terrarium and they also take up very little space.

Pet spiders are also very fascinating to observe.

Pet spiders are inexpensive to maintain as a pet spider requires little to no socialization, so it won't be lonely if you only own one.

Most Spiders have a lifespan of up to 2 years.

The average spider lives to about 2 years although some spiders can live a bit longer than that.

However some spiders have been known to live up to 20 years when in captivity as pets.

The female spider also lives a bit longer than the male spider and male spiders reach their maturity within two years and die after mating.

So the spiders you see that are not in captivity will not live very long even if you don't kill them or they don't get killed some other way.

Spiders can be very beneficial to your home and yard as they can help eat other bugs that are more of a pest than a spider.

Although some spiders are poisonous and those poisonous spiders should be killed to prevent them from biting someone in your home.
