USPS does sometimes deliver Saturday night past 5:00 PM in some locations depending on how much mail and packages they have to deliver.

In other locations USPS stops delivery by 5:00 PM unless they have more mail.

The USPS does pick up mail on Saturday.

If you drop off the mail on Saturday before 4:00 PM at the USPS or in a drop box then the USPS should pick the mail up.

If you get mail delivery at your home then you could put outgoing mail in your curbside mailbox and put the flag up and if the USPS mail carrier comes by your mailbox and sees the mailbox flag up they will pick up your outgoing mail.

USPS does not pick up mail on Sunday.

Although USPS does pick up mail on Saturday which is usually by 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM
