How long does your body ache with the flu?

My body has been aching all over today from the flu. How long does the body ache when having the flu and is there anyway I can get rid of the body aches from the flu?

The body aches and muscle aches from the flu should go away within 3 days and the flu should completely be gone within one or two weeks.
