Rhabdomyosarcoma occurs in tissue and muscles and places of the body which include the head, neck, bladder, vagina, arms, legs, trunk, or just about any body part.

The most common places that rhabdomyosarcoma occurs are the head and neck, legs and arms and urinary and reproductive organs.

Although RMS can arise anywhere in the body, it's more likely to start in the: Head and neck area. Urinary system, such as the bladder.

Reproductive system, such as the vagina, uterus and testes.
