Multivitamins are bad for kidney stones when taken too often.

Vitamin supplements and multivitamins are okay to take but when you take them too often they can lead to the formation of kidney stones and make kidney stones worse.

Vitamin D is good for kidneys in moderation but when taken in excess the Vitamin D can actually lead to kidney damage and kidney stones.

Vitamin D can cause kidney stones if you get too much Vitamin D.

Increased vitamin D levels can prevent a wide range of diseases, according to recent studies.

However, some previous studies led to a concern that vitamin D supplementation could increase an individual's risk of developing kidney stones.

Vitamins that are hard on the kidneys are Vitamin E, Vitamin A and Vitamin K and these Vitamins should be avoided when you have kidney stones.

If you're on an immunosuppressive drug, taking very large amounts of turmeric/curcumin may lead to kidney damage -- possibly due to reduced metabolism of the drug).

Minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus also have the potential to affect kidney function.

Zinc is bad for kidney stones as it's been found that high levels of zinc can lead to the formation of kidney stones.

When you're passing kidney stones you'll usually experience pain when urinating as well as some blood may be in the urine.

When passing kidney stones you might also see blood in your urine.

The pain comes and goes as the kidney spasms, trying to get rid of the stone from inside your kidney.

It may feel like you have pulled a muscle in your back.

Kidney stones are hard deposits of minerals and acid salts that stick together in concentrated urine.

The kidney stones can be painful when passing through the urinary tract, but usually don't cause permanent damage.

The most common symptom of kidney stones is severe pain, usually in the side of the abdomen, that's often associated with nausea.

Treatment for kidney stones includes pain relievers and drinking lots of water to help pass the stone.

Medical procedures may be needed to remove or break up larger stones.

Kidney stones (also called renal calculi, nephrolithiasis or urolithiasis) are hard deposits made of minerals and salts that form inside your kidneys.

Diet, excess body weight, some medical conditions, and certain supplements and medications are among the many causes of kidney stones.

Signs and symptoms that can suggest you may have kidney stones include.

Pain in the back, belly, or side.
Pain or burning during urination.
Urgent need to go.
Blood in the urine.
Cloudy or smelly urine.
Going a small amount at a time.
Nausea and vomiting.
Fever and chills.

Kidney Stones can sometimes cause foamy urine but another cause of foamy urine that is even more common is protein in your urine.

The Protein in your urine can sometimes indicate that you're kidneys are failing or about to fail so if the foamy urine does not go away or gets worse see a doctor and get your urine tested and get tested for kidney disease.

If your kidneys are failing then it can lead to death in a short amount of time but if you caught in time and you get onto dialysis then you can usually live a normal lifespan.

Also if you do have kidney stones that sometimes puts you more at risk for developing kidney problems and kidney failure.

So you should certainly get it checked out as foamy urine is not usually normal.
