Diabetes can cause constipation and incontinence in some people.

Also diabetes medication and sometimes lead to incontinence as well as constipation.

The medications that are used to control Type 2 diabetes may cause loose bowel actions (diarrhea).

The combination of weak pelvic floor muscles and loose bowel actions may cause fecal incontinence.
