It's rare for a person to die soon after getting the Lupus disease which is an auto immune disease.
People have lived over 40 years after being diagnosed with Lupus disease so there's no way to really know the lifespan of someone with Lupus disease.
It could be 10 years and then again they person could live 40 years or live out their full lifespan with Lupus disease.
