A dog will freeze to death when the temperatures drop to 25 F or below.

When a dog has no shelter they will freeze to death faster in the cold than they would if they had shelter but even with shelter a dog can still freeze to death.

If it's cold outside then the dog should be brought inside the house where it's warm out.

Temperatures of around 25 F degrees is dangerous for dogs and anything 20 F degrees or below is potentially life-threatening for the dogs.

If the wind is blowing then the wind chill can make the dog colder and they can freeze to death and die of hypothermia faster.

The wind takes the body heat away from the dog so they get colder faster.

Dogs should always be brought inside when the weather is too cold outside.

It's okay for a dog to be outside for 30 minutes to an hour to potty or play for awhile but they should be brought inside to stay warm.
