To get dog urine out of a carpet pad first blot up most of the dog urine from the carpet.

Then spray some vinegar onto the carpet and allow it to soak into the carpet.

Sprinkle some baking soda on the carpet as well and allow the vinegar and baking soda to work together.

Then use a carpet cleaning machine or an upholstery cleaning machine to help suck up the urine in the carpet and the carpet pad.

You may also need to lift up the carpet where the dog urine is to help clean the carpet pad under the carpet directly as well.

Some other tips to get dog urine or pet urine out of a carpet and carpet pad include.

Locate and blot up the urine from the carpet.
Create a homemade solution.
Vacuum the carpet.
Apply enzymatic cleaner.
Break out the steam cleaner.
Let the carpet dry and inspect the following day.

Another good way to clean carpet and carpet padding to help get dog urine out of the carpet and carpet pad is.

Mix four parts water with one part white vinegar.

Pull the carpet up from its tacks at the nearest corner to expose the stain.

Pour the water/vinegar solution over the stain and let it sit for about half an hour.

Scrub gently, then blot as much as possible.

You can and should also use some pet urine odor neutralizer to help clean the carpet and remove the dog urine and dog urine smell.
