Mouse poison should be placed anywhere where you see mouse droppings or any holes where mice may be going in and out of.

If mice are in your cabinet you should also place some mouse poison in the cabinets and inside your bottom kitchen cabinets.

And place some mouse poison behind stoves, refrigerators etc but keep the mouse poison out of the reach of dogs, cats and toddlers or little kids who put things in their mouths.

If you have an attic you can and should place mouse poison in the attic as well as mice like to hang around in attics and chew on wires, insulation etc.

Put rodent poison and bait boxes near rodent  and mice burrows, against walls or along travel routes used by the pests.

Rodents usually will not go out of their way to find baits.

House mice seldom venture more than a few feet from their nests or food sources, so place bait stations no more than 10 or 12 feet apart in areas where mice are active.
