Mouth cancer will most time resemble a canker sore also known as a mouth ulcer.
If the canker sore or mouth ulcer doesn't go away within a week you should see your doctor to be sure whether it's mouth cancer or not.
Usually there's no pain for mouth cancer in the early stages but later on the mouth cancer will cause pain in the mouth.
If mouth cancer is treated early then it can likely be cured.
