What are some negative affects of pacifier use?

Pacifiers should be taken away by age 1 and no later than 2.

The negative affects pacifiers can have once used past age 1 or 2 are speech delays, tooth problems and tooth decay.

A child having a pacifier in their mouth all the time past age 2 can cause them to not learn to speak properly or cause them to take longer to learn to talk.
