Toddlers can have tea.
Tea is healthy for toddlers and even babies above 6 months of age.
In fact, safe teas are an excellent alternative to juice, even sweetened with a bit of honey (for children over 1-year-old).
Children over the age of 2 can also enjoy herbal tea, and some experts note that it can be a healthy choice for children because it is hydrating and does not contain sugar, like juice or soda.
Some herbal tea can be used to help manage symptoms of minor illnesses in children.
Although since tea contains caffeine the tea should be given to your toddler in moderation as too much caffeine can cause issues with your toddler.
But in moderation the tea is healthy as long as the toddler is drinking water, juice, milk etc along with the tea.
