A 9 month old baby can eat eggs.

When feeding a baby eggs they should be on solid foods and also it's best to begin introducing eggs to the baby in scrambled egg form first.

The scrambled eggs are better and easier for the baby to eat.

Another way to introduce your baby to eggs is to mix a small amount (¼ teaspoon), of hard-boiled egg or peanut butter/paste into your baby's usual food (such as vegetable puree).

Gradually increase the amount if your baby is not having any allergic reactions, for example ½ teaspoon the next time.

You can give your baby the entire egg (yolk and white).

Around 6 months, puree or mash one hard-boiled or scrambled egg and serve it to your baby.

Around 8 months, scrambled egg pieces are a fantastic finger food.

There are no guidelines regarding the maximum number of eggs for babies and children.

So, one a day is perfectly fine.

The American Academy of Pediatrics says that early exposure to eggs might help prevent food allergies in the future.

Whip up a soft omelette or scrambled eggs that Baby can gum.

Toast with spread.

Since bread can be chewy, pop it in the toaster for a firmer texture that doesn't stick to the roof of your baby's mouth.
