Is it normal for the plug on the cord of my electric space heater to get warm?

The cord end where it plugs into the electrical outlet is getting warm. When I went to unplug the electric space heater I noticed the plug was warm to the touch?

It's not burning hot but just warm. Is it a normal thing for a cord on a space heater to get a little warm?

The plug on your space heater can get a little warm but if it's getting too hot you should stop using it.

Check to see if the outlet is not holding the plug in tight. A bad electrical outlet that doesn't hold the plug in tight can cause a plug to overheat due to loose connections.

The connection between the plug and outlet should be tight.
