There have been people who have died on Pikes Peak.

There have been at least seven deaths and seven people who have die don Pikes Peak.

There were some people who sadly died on a Pikes Peak hill climb race.

All Pikes Peak Hill Climb racers have not been as fortunate as the two in the video, with seven deaths attributed to the race.

Most recently, well-known motorcycle racer Carlin Dunne died after a crash that took place just 20 yards from the finish line.

He is remembered as one of the greats.

The event has had a rich history of motorcycle competition, dating back to the very first running in 1916.

However, of the seven deaths that have occurred at the hill climb, four of those were riders in the motorcycle competition.

The 19-mile Pikes Peak Highway is a 2-lane road ascending more than 6,000 feet in elevation to 14,115 feet.

The views are breathtaking and the drive is truly amazing.

Mountain roads are as safe as any other roads if the driving speed is kept consistent with the type of road and conditions.

Pikes Peak is the highest summit of the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, in North America.

The ultra-prominent 14,115-foot fourteener is located in Pike National Forest, 12 miles west of downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The town of Manitou Springs lies at its base.

I found this info in google On 30 June 2019, four-time Pikes Peak International Hill Climb winner Carlin Dunne was killed in a crash at the race. He crashed less than a quarter of a mile from the finish line.

Well, it sounds not funny.
