Not sure on the exact temperature a dryer should be getting hot at.
But if you can place your hand on the dryer without getting burnt then the temperature is safe.
Dryers have a high limit switch that will shut off the dryer or should shut the dryer off it the temperature gets too hot inside the dryer.
