What to do when your child doesn't want to stop breastfeeding?

My 2 almost 3 year old son doesn't want to stop breastfeeding on his mom? How can I get my 2 and a half year old son to stop breastfeeding on his mom?

He's certainly getting too old to be breastfeeding.

Your wife needs to just stop and not allow him to suck on her breast anymore. He may whine and cry and throw a big fit but he'll get over it.
