A dog shaking so much can be a sign of kidney disease, kidney failure, poisoning or other disease.
However most commonly a dog may be shaking simply from being too cold or the dog may be nervous, excited or scared about something.
Old age in dogs can also cause the dog to shake more and if the dog has diabetes they may shake more as well which is normal.
